With clear influence on the viewer of identity through the placement of flowers, acting as a mask over the persons face. In my opinion, the concealment of ones face will always alter the persons humanity, hiding personality, emotions and ultimately identity. The flowers acting as if they are blooming present that within human nature, we determine what we believe we are, what others think we are, what we really are and what we would like to be.
The concealment of ones face is a consistent element I have been and will be exploring within the future. Using actual mask's to present the lack of identity and the concealment of ones humanity when complying to capitalism. I also like the use of flowers to present, emotions and individuality, I will present flowers within my work - concealed by layers within my design which portrays how material objects such as garments can transform or disfigure our humanity.
