the psychology of colour - exhibition I

colour /ˈkʌlə/ noun the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects or emits light.

About:


initial making, influenced by psychology, fashion and anatomy. For my first mini exhibition.


was first made as a physical a3 sketch, later developed on photoshop for print.


the use of colour displays different elements of emotions that humans portray - these colours can also be presented similarly through fashion ( clothing in these colours may represent emotions)

 

Materials & process:

  • typography

  • an exploration through colours relating to emotions or feelings.

  • biro drawing

  • Printer scanning (unfortunately I do not have the hand drawn image)

  • anatomy - select and mask
