The global apparel retail market is worth approximately $1.34 trillion in retail sales per year and has been cluttered by large luxury fashion houses who will assist in the increase of garment production of 13% by 2021 (CommonObject, 2018). Consumerism, isn’t that literally fashion culture? Mass overconsumption and cyclic fashion waste. Consumers need to be informed about the many negative effects high-end fashion have on the world today. My practice will be exactly this, a series of informative designs which use irony and humour to present these sinister warnings. My brand The Veil of Humanity was created in response to luxury fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton or Gucci. 

 

My brands approach of using tongue & cheek humour derives from an artist who mocks the desire to posses and urges civilisation to take on a quest of finding a deeper meaning in life: Dotmaster. His methodology became the essence of my brand. through the use of digital designs and prints, from early developments of my brand I used realisation as my approach to inform; you can’t use privatisation as a masks to conceal or distort your humanity.

shipping and packaging 

at the veil of humanity we only use premium, high-quality materials for our packaging. to ensure your masks arrive undamaged, we provide the best delivery possible, arriving whenever we can be arsed to send your order out. shipping is currently only available for members within the uk who have already purchased from us. please note we are not liable for any damages or responsible for any lost packages after shipping. 

please enjoy gloss black packaging, with insightful and meaningful advice. customers will also be provided with a receipt within TVOH envelope (probably). humanity not included.

stock and sizing

due to our brand being exclusively privatised, meaning only those who become TVOH members will be allowed to purchase from our store. stock levels fluctuate between collections but will usually be extremely limited. you will only be allowed to purchase one of each item per order, orders with duplicate items will be canceled. most of our products will sell out within the first minute of drops, it will be very unlikely that we restock garments and accessories so cop asap, or don't we don't really care, we know you will be consumed eventually.

our apparel traditionally drop at around 02.56 AM GMT. however it is entirely dependant on if we are awake to drop the collection or not. please note, we are not responsible for any irritated emotions towards our brand if drops sell out before you have a chance to become a slave to consumerism.
